Elevation from ground to MA terminal
If the MA terminal is hung up vertically to a wall, the optimal ele-
vation from ground to MA terminal is between 1.1 to 1.35 meter.
H optimum = (h man + h woman)/2 - (dlcd + ((tan(alpha-teta) +
tan(alpha + teta)) * disthm/2 + dyt)
Hypothesis:
H optimum = 1.514 - 0.596 * disthm
> H optimum = 1.22 meter
Tilt the MA terminal if elevation is a constraint
If the MA terminal must be located at a given "H" elevation, the
optimal tilt angle of the MA terminal could be adjusted, in order
to have a good LCD visibility and an optimum finger ergonomics
(MA Angle /vertical = beta)
Beta = Arctan (tan(alpha) + ((h optimum - H)/disthm)) - 25°
Beta = Arctan (0,466 + 2*(h optimum - H)) - 25°
Examples:
H = 1.22 meter (= h optimum)
H = 1.00 meter
H = 1.40 meter
This case is not recommended.
It has a poor finger ergonomics.
