Sounds

This menu allows you to set the various
tunes that the phone plays when you receive
a call or a new text message, or some other
event occurs.
Your phone already contains a variety of
tones (including polyphonic ringtones), but
there is also space for extra ringtones that
you download or receive.
Ringer
Select this option to set the ringtone for
incoming calls by choosing from a list of
default and downloaded ringtones.
Melodies
Select this option to display a list of
ringtones which you have received via
messages or have downloaded. The
number of ringtones you can store depends
on their size.

Note: You can only select the incoming
ringtone from the Ringer menu.
Receiving a ringtone
If you have received a ringtone, press
Options
from the message screen
ζ
Note: It is only possible to save a certain
number of extra ringtones which you
have received as a message or
downloaded, depending on their size.
To save new ringtones you must
overwrite an existing ringtone in the
custom ringer list.
Volume
Select this option to change the volume
setting for the incoming ringtones.
Key Tones
This menu allows you to set the type of
keypad tones that you would like to hear
when pressing the keys.
You have three options:
Off
No sound emitted upon a key press.
On
Short, low volume tone.
DTMF
These are standard tones, as used in
touch tone phones. Each number has its
own specific tone.
On/Off melody
The phone can play a melody whenever you
switch it on or off. Select this to switch this
,
feature on or off.
Flip melody
The phone can play a melody whenever you
open or close the flip. Select this to switch
this feature on or off.
