The appliances in your new Jayco trailer are of quality and name
brand manufacture.
They are applicable to current code and
standard requirements. All are designed to operate only on L.P.-gas,
(not on NATURAL gas.)
Each appliance has its own manual arld instructions to operate as
supplied by its manufacturer.
Any brushed chrome surface needs to have cleaning and polishing
attention a s follows:
Clean the chrome with a mild soap and water, wipe dry with a soft
cloth and apply a light coat of oil such a s "Johnson's Baby Oil"
periodically.
After each use, light splattering or finger prints can easily b e wiped
off with a paper towel.
The products of combustion from the top burner pilots will cause red
deposits to build up on the underside of the top. This will
NOT
affect
the life of the top. However, if you wish to prevent it, keep the
underside of the top regularly coated with a light baby oil and wipe
the deposit off regularly a s it: appears.
DO
NOT
use steel wool, ammonia, acids, or abrasives on finished
chrome surfaces.
Normal cooking vapors will. condense on the vent and backguard
leaving a brownish deposit. This should be cleaned off with soap and
water at the end of each cooking period.
If the deposits are a1lowed to accumulate, a hard slain will develop
which will b e difficult to remove and may damage the finish.
