Playback Mode: 9 z

Playing Back Motion Pictures

Press w/q to select a picture with a motion picture
icon (such as [-]), and then press e to play back.
A The motion picture recording time
B Motion picture icon
C Motion picture playback icon
• After playback starts, the elapsed playback time is displayed on
the upper right of the screen.
For example, 8 minutes and 30 seconds is displayed as [8m30s].
Operations performed during motion picture playback
The cursor displayed during playback corresponds to e/r/w/q.
A Play/Pause
B Stop
C Fast rewind, Frame-by-frame rewind
D Fast forward, Frame-by-frame forward

These operations can be performed only in Pause Mode.
E Reduce volume level
F Increase volume level
Note
• Sound can be heard through the speaker. Refer to [VOLUME] (P25) for information
about how to adjust the volume in the [SETUP] menu.
• The Úle format that can be played back with this camera is QuickTime Motion JPEG.
• Please note that the bundled software includes QuickTime to play back motion picture
Úles created with the camera on the PC. (P96)
• Some QuickTime Motion JPEG Úles recorded by a PC or other equipment may not be
played back with this camera.
• When playing back motion pictures that have been recorded with other equipment, the
quality of pictures may deteriorate or it may not be possible to play them back.
• When using a high capacity card, it is possible that fast rewinding may be slower than
usual.
