When leaving your vehicle, do not leave the M35 Navig8r on the dashboard of the car. It should be removed and placed in a secure place along with the windscreen mount and power supply cable. Do not leave the M35 Navig8r in direct sunlight when not driving the vehicle. -

Subsequent charging should take less time to complete. Once the initial charge has been completed, turn the unit on by pressing and holding the power button located on the top of the unit for 3 seconds. The M35 Navig8r should start at the System Main Menu. -

To turn the GPS off, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The M35 Navig8r will be powered down and the position in the menu structure saved; when the M35 Navig8r is started again it will start up in the same screen or position in the program it was in when it was turned off. -

Please read the previous section about charging the M35 Navig8r before using and ensure that it is fully charged. Turn the M35 Navig8r on and tap the Navigation icon to start the Navig8r software. Page 26: Next Turn By Name / Turn By Turn Menu
D: Full Recalc: Forces the M35 to recalculate the full route from your current location to the destination address. This feature is useful if you decide to make a side trip from your calculated route. -
Page 27: Gps Signal Indicator
If the signal drops during a calculated route, the map will be paused until the signal is detected again. If shown in GREEN, 5 or more satellites are being detected and the M35 can accurately determine the current location. Routes can now be calculated. -
Page 28: Battery Level Indicator
Satellites: Shows the number of satellites the M35 is receiving a valid signal from. The greater the number the greater the accuracy of the M35. Up to 12 satellites can be detected at any one time. -
Page 29: Next Turn Indicator / Repeat Last Spoken Direction Button
Tap this icon to repeat the last spoken instructions by the M35. Distances given in spoken instructions are updated to reflect the current distance from the turn. -
Page 30: Speed And Red Light Camera Alert
Tap the Speed indicator to enter the Speedometer screen. Displayed in this screen are the Local time and the present speed that the M35 GPS is travelling at as calculated from the GPS satellite signals. Using the stylus, spell out the name of the city, town or suburb of your destination. After the first 3 letters have been entered, the M35 will begin to list the possible options from those letters. Trip Options Sets the trip options for any route to be taken. Tap the “Trip Options” button to set the options for the M35. Options can be changed when setting a destination in the Options menu in the address entry screens. -
