Check
Wait until the IP address is assigned to the computer. You may need to restart your
computer.
• Search for the printer again after confirming a valid IP address is assigned to the computer.

Specifying the Printer's IP Address

Action
The printer's IP Address can be specified by the following procedure.
• Make sure that the printer is connected to a network beforehand.

Perform to in "Software Installation" in the printed manual: Getting Started.

Click Next (A) on the Set Up New Printer screen.
• If the Detected Printers List screen appears, click Set Up New Printer.

When the Connect Cable screen appears, connect the printer to the computer with
a USB cable.
