10.4. Connecting The Power Supply Cord To The Unit

This section is for authorized and licensed electrician/water
system installer only. Work behind the front plate secured by
screws must only be carried out under supervision of qualified
contractor, installation engineer or service person.
How To Take Out Front Plate
Please follow the steps below to remove the front plate. Be
sure to switch off all power supply (Tank Unit power supply,
indoor unit power supply and heater power supply), before
removing the front plate of Tank Unit.
1. Remove the 8 mounting screws which are located on
front and topside of the front plate.
2. Gently pull the right side of the front panel toward front.
Then push toward left side to unhook the front panel's
hook that located at left upper side. Be careful not to
damage the control panel's cord which attached together
with front plate.
3. Put the front plate at the left /right side of Tank Unit. Make
sure the front panel is properly located so that it would not
slid down.
4. For reinstalling the front plate, carry out the above steps
1~3 in the reverse order.
Connecting The Power Supply Cord
1. Connect the cables to the power supply through isolating device (Disconnecting means).
• Isolating device (Disconnecting means) should have a minimum 3.0 mm contact gap.
• Connect the approved polychloroprene sheathed power supply cable (5 x 1.5 mm
heavier cord to the RCCB, and connect the other end of the power supply cord to isolating device (Disconnecting means).
• Earth lead wire shall be longer than the other lead wires as shown below – "How to connect power supply cord" for the
electrical safety in case of slipping out of the cord from the Holder (Clamper).
2. To avoid power supply cord getting stripped by sharp edge, it must be routed through bushing (located at the bottom of control
board) before carry out electrical connection. The bushing must be used and must not be removed.
3. Neutral conductor of the equipment must be reliably connected.
4. Neutral connector must not be short circuited with EARTH.
5. Wires must be correctly connected to the terminals according to its polarity.
6. The wires should be firmly connected to the terminals. Maximum torque applied to the screws on terminals shall comply to
EN61008/IEC61008.
7. Secure the power supply cable with the holder (clamper).
The front plate may cause injure to your feet, if do not wear
suitable safety boot.
