CAUTION: To prevent damage to electrical components, properly ground the server before
beginning any installation procedure. Improper grounding can cause ESD.
Back up all data on the server.
1.
Power down the server (on page 14).
2.
Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
3.
Remove the server from the chassis (on page 14).
4.
Place the server on a flat, level work surface.

Remove any necessary components to obtain access to the system board. For procedures to remove

server components, see the maintenance and service guide.
Install the FBWC module into the holder mounted in the server tray.

Route the FBWC cable as indicated for your server:
