Picking up a call from the answering
machine –
There are two setting options.
Immediate pickup
With immediate pickup (factory setting), you interrupt the
answering machine recording by lifting the handset.
A message appears on the base station telephone display.
Example:
Pick up the call.
The answering machine stops recording.
The message recorded up to this point will be stored as a
"New Message" .
Indirect pickup
Indirect pickup after inquiry (for settings see page 74)
should be activated if you do not wish to inadvertently ans-
wer incoming calls to the answering machine.
Lift the handset.
A question appears on the display, asking if you want to
pick up the call.
Example:
Pick up the call.
or
Reject call pickup
Handset: Press
(pickup after inquiry is set).
Correction: 0
