BLAUPUNKT LIMITED WARRANTY (CANADA)
SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT BELOW, Robert Bosch Inc.
("Robert Bosch") warrants the replacement of Blaupunkt car radio accessories, and the repair or
replacement of Blaupunkt car radios or car radio parts, which, under normal conditions of use or
service, are found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship withln twelve (12) months from
the date of installation by an authorized Blaupunkt dealer of Robert Bosch.
FOR GREATER CERTAINTY, THIS BLAUPUNKT LIMITED WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO
THE FOLLOWING LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS:

For purposes of this warranty, a Blaupunkt car radio accessory is a product which enhances,
or is dependent upon, the operation of a Blaupunkt car radio but does not form an integral part
thereof and may be purchased independently of the car radio unit.
With the exception of labour costs incurred in connection with the removal or installation of car
radios and accessories and related activities, defective accessories will be replaced, and car
radios or car radio parts will be repaired or replaced by a like item by an authorized Blaupunkt
warranty se&e depot or authorized Blaupunkt dealer, free of labour costs related to such
replacement or repair.
This warranty dc& not apply to car radios and car radio parts and accessories supplied by
Robert Bosch to manufacturers for installation in their oroducts as original eaubment. Such
manufacturers may, in some cases, provide warranty c&wage for a p&od dikekent than that
provided herein.
This warranty is limited to Blaupunkt car radios and car radio parts and acces~~nes installed in
a motor vehicle by an authorized Blaupunktb)varranty service depot or authorized Blaupunkt
dealer and to Blaupunkt car radios and accessories in a motor vehicle, the installation of which
has been approved by an authorized Blaupunkt warranty service depot or authorized
Blaupunkt dealer.
Specifically excluded from this warranty are car radios and car radio parts and accessories
which have been rendered defective by misuse, negligence, modification or abuse, by
improper mstallation, application, operation or removal, by unauthorized service or the use of
unauthorized parts. Also excluded from this warranty are parts which are subject to
replacement due to normal wear and tear, normal maintenance to the tape portion of car
radios such as cleaning, head demagnetization, lubrication and other minor adjustments and
service required to eliminate any electro-magnetic interference.
A claim under this warranty can only be made by the original customer within twelve (12)
months of the date of installation of the car radio accessory, as the case may be, and is
contingent upon the presentation of the attached warranty certificate countersigned by an
authorized Blaupunkt dealer of Robert Bosch within ten (10) days of the said installation date.
This warranty is not transferable by the original consumer to subsequent owners, nor does it
apply to car radio replacement parts.
To the extent allowed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the Blaupunkt car radio or car radio
accessories are purchased, this warranty sets out the only remedies available to the original
consumer with respect to the car radio or car radio parts or accessories owned by him. This
warranty constitutes the entire agreement between Robert Bosch and the original consumer.
The only representations, oral or written, concerning the Blaupunkt car radios or car radio
parts or accessories which are binding on Robert Bosch are the w&ten representations
contained in this warranty. Neither Robert Bosch nor its affiliated companies shall be liable for
incidental or consequential damages which may result from defective car radios or car radio
parts or accessories or from the defective installation thereof, whether or not due to the
negligence of Robert Bosch. This warranty applies only to Blaupunkt car radios and car radio
parts and accessones and does not cover any other motor vehicle parts.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND
CONDITIONS. ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION IMPLIED BY LAW, WHETHER OF
MERCHANTABILIlY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE, IS
LIMITED TO THE PERIOD THAT THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE and no
attempt to alter, modify or amend this warranty shall be effective unless authorized in writing by
an officer of Robert Bosch.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the imposition of limitation periods on a warranty's duration,
nor do they condone the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. You may therefore
have othe; rights which vary between jurisdictions and You may have addltional l&gal rights
against persons other than Robert Bosch.
Robert Bosch reserves the right to examine car radios and car radio parts and accessories
alleged to be defective in mat&s and/or workmanship to determine the nature and cause of
such defect and its decision in this regard shall be final. Robert Bosch also reserves the right
to decide between repair and replacement.

rehausse le fonctionnement d'une radio d&to Blaupunkt ou qui en dbpend, mais qui n'en fait
pas partie int&rante et que lion peut acheter independamment de celle-ci.
A I'exception des frais de main-d'oeuvre se rapportant B la depose ou B la pose des radios
d'autos et de leurs accessoires et aux actiit& connexes, les accessoires dkfectueux seront
rempla&s et ks radios d'autos ou leurs accessoires seront rbpar& ou remplac& par un
article semblable par un d8pbt de service Blaupunkt autorise ou on marchand Blaupunkt
autotis8, saw frais de main-d'oeuvre pour ledii remplacement ou ladiie r&par&n.
La prbsente garantie ne &applique pas aux radios d'autos, aux pi&es et accessoires de
radios d'autos fournis par Robert Bosch aux constructeurs pour installation dans leurs
prod&s cornme +&em&s d'origine. Lesclts fabricants pew&. dans certains cas, fournir
une garantie pour une p&iode dii&ente de celle que pr&oient les pr&entes.
La pr&ente garantie est lim& aux radios d'autos, aux pi&es et accessoires de radios
d'autos Blaupunkt install& dans un dhicule automobile par un d+x% de service Blaoponkt
autorid ou un marchand de radios d'autos et d'accessoires Blaupunkt autoriti, dont la&e
installation a 6% approude par un dBpGt de service Blaupunkt auto& ou un marchand
Blaupunkt autotis6.
Sont spbcifiquement exclus de la pr&ente garantie les radios d'autos et les pi&es et
access&es de radios d'autos rendus dbfectueux par mauvais usage, &gligence, modification
ou abus, par one installation, une utilisation, un fonctionnement ou une d&pose incorrect, par
un entretien non autorid ou I'usage de pi&es non autoris&s. Sat ~alement exclues de la
pr&zente garantie les pi&es g remplacer par suite d'usure normale, pour I'entretien normal B
la partie magnt+tophone des radios d'autos comme le nettoyage, la d&nagn&ation des t&tees,
la lubrification ou les autres reglages et services mineurs pour &miner I'interf&ence
&ctromagn~tique.
Toute r&lamation aux tames de la pr&ente garantie ne peut &e faite que par I'acheteur
original dans les douze (12) mois de la date de la pose de la radio d'auto ou de ses
accessoires, s&n le cas, et doit &e accompagn& du certificat de garantie contresignb par
un marchand Blaupunkt autorish de Robert Bosch dans les dix (10) jours de ladite date
d'installation.
La pr&ente garantie n'est pas cessible par I'acheteur original aux propri&aires subs&en&
et ellg ne s'a~plique pas aux pi&es de rechange de radios-d'autos.
Dans la limite oh le Dermet la loi de la iuridiction air la radio d'auto ou les accessoires de radios
d'autos Blaupunkt 'sent achet&z, la &sente garantie Bnum&re les seuls recours offerts B
I'acheteur original en rapport avec la radio d'auto ou les pi&es ou accessoims de radios
d'autos ache& par Iui. La pr&ente garantie constihx l'entente tot& entre Robert Bosch et
I'acheteur original. Les seules repr&entations, verb&s ou Q&s, concernant les radios
d'autos ou les pi&es ou accessoires de radios d'autos Blaupunkt qui engagent Robert Bosch
sent c&s que contiennent les pr&entes. Ni Robert Bosch ni ses compagnies affili&zs ne
sont responsatles des dommages incidents et indirects qui peuvent subvenir B la suite de la
d~fectuosit~ des radios d'autos ou de leurs pi&es ou accessoires ou de la dbfectuosith de
leur pose, quelle soit ou non due & la n&gligence de Robert Bosch. La pr&sente garantie
&applique seulement aux radios d'autos et aux pi&es et accessoires de radios d'autos
Blaupunkt et ne couvre aucune autre pi&e de vbhicules automobiles.
LA PRCSENTE GARANTIE TIENT LIEU DE TOUTES AUTRES GARANTIES ET
CONDITIONS EXPLICITES. TOUTE GARANTIE OU CONDITION DCCOULANT DE LOI.
QUANT A LA OUALITE MARCHANDE OU A LA CONVENANCE A UNE FIN
PARTICULIARE OU TOUTE AUTRE GARANTIE OUCONDITION, SE LIMITE A LA

r+aration et le remplacement.
