POSSIBLE CAUSE
¯ If the time display flashes "F--and a number',' you have a function error code.
If a function error code appears during the self-cleaning cycle, check the oven
door latch. The latch may have been moved, even if only slightly, fi'om the
latched position. Make sure the latch is moved to the right as far as it will go.
Turn the Oven Temperature knob to of£ Allow the oven to cool for one hour.
Put the oven back into operation.
¯ Disconnect all power to the range for 5 minutes and then reconnect power.
If the failure code repeats, then call for service.
¯ Disconnect power to the range at the fuse box or circuit breaker for at least
10 seconds. Turn power on and power up your range. If the indicator lights are
still on, call for se~wice.
¯ Plug on range is not completely inserted in the electrical outlet.
¯ The circuit breaker in your house has been tripped, or a fuse has been blown.
¯ Oven controls not properly set.
¯ Door left in locked position after cleaning.
¯ Light bulb is loose or defective. Tighten or replace.
¯ Switch operating oven light is broken. Call for service.
¯ The Oven Temperature knob not set at BROIL. Make sure you turn the knob
all the way to the BROIL position.
¯ Door not left open to the broil stop position as recommended.
¯ Improper shelf position being used. See the Broiling Guide.
¯ Food is being cooked on hot pan.
¯ Cookwm'e is not suited for broiling.
¯ Aluminum foil used on the broil pan grid has not been fitted properly
and slit as recommended.
¯ The Oven Temperature knob not set correctly.
¯ Shelf position is inconect. See the Roasting or Baking sections.
¯ Oven shelf not level.
¯ Incorrect cookware or cookware of i~nproper size is being used.
¯ A foil tent was not used when needed to slow" down browning during roasting.
¯ Oven thermostat needs adjustment. See the Adjust the Oven Thermostat--
Do It Yourself section.

¯ Make sure the electrical plug is plugged into a live, properly grounded
power outlet.
