Maintenance

Cleaning the unit

If necessary, the unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
1.
Place the cleaner on a flat level surface.
2. Make sure the cleaner is switched off and not connected to the mains power supply.
3. Clean the outside of the unit with a damp cloth.

Rinsing the boiler

To clean the boiler, fill it with clean water and shake carefully. This will release any limescale deposits
that have collected on the bottom of the tank. Pour the water out.

Descaling

In order to prolong the life of the cleaner, the boiler should be descaled at least every 6 months.
1. Switch the cleaner off and disconnect from the mains power supply. Wait until the cleaner has
cooled down completely.
2. Empty the boiler.
3. Use a commercially-available descaler as stated in the package specification.
Mix the descaler in the measuring jug.
4. Do not fill the boiler with more than 1 litre of the descaler solution.
5. Fit the cap and tighten fully.
6. Shake the cleaner gently and carefully.
7. Leave for 30 minutes.
8. Empty the solution carefully.
9. Rinse the boiler with clean warm water, then empty. Due to the fact that a small
amount of solution will be left in the boiler, it is necessary to rinse the boiler out
with clean water several times.
Warning: Do not use the steam cleaner while descaling solution is
inside the boiler.
