Tap No if you do not have a Google account. On the following screen, tap Get an
account to open a new Google account and then follow the prompts. Otherwise, tap Not
now to skip this step.
7. Select or clear check boxes for the following settings:

Use Wi-Fi and mobile network location
o
Let Google apps access your location
8. Tap Next.
9. Read the information about System Manager (Carrier IQ). To learn more, tap More info.
10. When finished, tap Close.
11. If desired, select the following options:

Set up Voicemail
o
Sign in to Email
12. To skip voicemail and email setup, tap Go to Home screen.
13. Review the setup information, and then tap OK.
Time & Date

Auto-update time (NITZ)

To set the device clock to automatically update based on what time zone it is in, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Scroll down to 'SYSTEM,' and then tap Date & time.
4. Select the Automatic date & time check box.
5. Select the Automatic time zone check box.
Set time & date
To set the time and date of the device clock, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Scroll down to 'SYSTEM,' and then tap Date & time.
4. If necessary, clear the Automatic date & time check box.
5. Tap Set date.
6. Enter the current date, and then tap OK.
7. Tap Set time.
8. Enter the time, and then tap OK.
