APN and data settings

To set the Access Point Name (APN) and turn on data settings, follow these steps:
Turn on data settings
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Under 'WIRELESS & NETWORKS,' tap Tethering & Networks.
4. Scroll down to 'NETWORK SETTINGS,' and then tap Mobile networks.
5. If necessary, select the Data enabled check box to turn on.
6. If roaming outside of the brightspot network, select the Data roaming check box and then tap
Yes to confirm.
Note: You will incur charges if you are roaming internationally.
Select an APN
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Under 'WIRELESS & NETWORKS,' tap Tethering & Networks.
4. Scroll down to 'NETWORK SETTINGS,' and then tap Mobile networks.
5. Tap Access point names.
6. Select the desired access point name.
Note: To set up a new APN, tap the Menu key, and then tap New APN.
Restore default APN settings
Note: You need to have previously added an APN to access the reset feature.
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Under 'WIRELESS & NETWORKS,' tap Tethering & Networks.
4. Scroll down to 'NETWORK SETTINGS,' and then tap Mobile networks.
5. Tap Access point names.
6. Tap the Menu key, and then tap Reset to default.
7. Tap Yes.
