1. Transfer the music, song, or sound file to the Notifications folder on your device.
2. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
3. Tap System settings.
4. Under 'DEVICE,' tap Sound.
5. Under 'RINGTONE & NOTIFICATIONS,' tap Notification sound.
6. Select the file to use as your notification sound.
Note: Items transferred to the Notification folder will appear under 'MY NOTIFICATIONS.'

Ringtones

To change the ringtone, follow these steps:
Ringtone for all calls
1. Transfer the music, song, or sound file to the Ringtones folder on your device.
2. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
3. Tap System settings.
4. Under 'DEVICE,' tap Sound.
5. Under 'RINGTONE & NOTIFICATIONS,' tap Phone ringtone.
6. Select the file to use as your ringtone for all calls.
Note: Items transferred to the Ringtones folder will appear under 'MY RINGTONES.'
Ringtone for calls from one contact
1. Transfer the music, song, or sound file to the Ringtones folder on your device.
2. From any Home screen, tap Contacts.
3. Select the contact you want to edit.
4. Tap Edit.
5. Scroll down and tap the RINGTONE drop-down menu.
6. Select the file to use as your ringtone for this contact.
7. Tap OK.
8. Tap Save.
