Blade Operating Guide
The Stainless Steel
Shredding Blade
Although firm pressure on the food
pusher is recommended for some
foods, do not press hard as the blade
may jam.
ALWAYS use the food pusher when
using the shredding blade.

Vegetables
Carrots, Zucchini,
Cucumber, Onions
Cheese (Cheddar,
crumble Fetta,
Mozzarella,
Gouda)

Procedure
Pack into the feed chute and process using firm pressure.
Peel and cut into pieces if necessary to fit in the feed
chute.
Prepare the vegetables and pack into the feed chute.
Packing vertically will give shorter shreds than packing
horizontally. Process using firm pressure on the food
pusher.
Cut the cheese to fit in the feed chute snugly. Process
using light pressure on the food pusher to prevent the
cheese crumbling.
Break chocolate into pieces to fit in the feed chute and
process using firm pressure on the food pusher.
