2. Below the controller section shows the current network configuration is displayed. We
recommend use of static IP addresses as in Figure 11-24.
You can also assign IP Addresses from a DHCP server to assign an IP Address
automatically. If you do this we recommend you to configure static IP addresses for the
storage subsystem on your DHCP server, since if a Controller's IP address changes, you
will have to discover it again in the Enterprise view, "Automatically discover new storage
subsystems" on page 130.
3. There is also an Advanced button - click it to enable or disable remote login, Figure 11-25
and click OK. Remote login should only be enabled for use by IBM system support
representatives - otherwise, it should remain disabled.
