ou're a very bright person.
How do we know?
Well, for one thing you just bought a Trane
Home Comfort Sensor, the communications inter-
face for the Trane Integrated Comfort System.
This means you've opted for energy efficiency,
lower utility bills and doing a little something to
save the planet–all in one bold move.
As you know, this is an instruction manual for
the Home Comfort Sensor.
Even the most intuitive trailblazers need
a road map sometimes, so this manual was
designed to be as self-explanatory
as possible.
The Home Comfort Sensor is a computer,
but that's the last time we'll mention it. These
instructions are in plain English with only a
couple of unusual words like setpoint and set-
back. No technical talk, no complicated diagrams.
All you have to do to become a Home Comfort
Sensor expert is follow the simple steps in this
booklet.
But before we begin, you might want to spend
a few moments looking over the glossary of terms
on the next page. It will make those unusual
words we mentioned earlier more meaningful.
