5.1.7 Power Supply Waveforms Check

Check No.10 Measure the power supply waveform between No.1 and No.2 on the terminal board, and check
the waveform disturbance.

Service Diagnosis
Check the outdoor fan system.
Outdoor fan running?
YES
Outdoor fan system is functioning.
Check to see if the power supply waveform is a sine wave. (Fig.1)
Check to see if there is waveform disturbance near the zero cross. (sections circled in Fig.2)
Refrigerant system check
Is the
discharge pipe
thermistor disconnected
from the holder?
NO
Check for refrigerant leakage.
See the service diagnosis on
refrigerant shortage (U0).
Fan motor
NO
lead wire connector
disconnected?
NO
Go to Check No. 15.

Reconnect the connector.
