Entering Text on Your Phone

x The phone defaults to a capital letter for the first letter and any
letter after a space; otherwise, it uses small letters.
x To switch to all capital letters, press
capital letters first (e. g. ABCabc2) until you enter a blank space or

Do not change this setting unless instructed to by
customer service.
This feature adds "0" or "00" at the beginning of
the number received from Caller ID. The default
setting for New Zealand is ON. The default setting
for Australia is OFF.
If you subscribe to a Voice Mail service you can set
the Voice Mail number (see page 19).
Reset your Visual Message Waiting Indicator to
bring it back in sync with your voice mail service.
