IMPORTANT: If the hose or tools are blocked, switch off and unplug the carpet washer and remove the blockage(s) before restarting your machine (see Maintenance). IMPORTANT: Cleaning a replacing filters maintains cleaning performance. Vax recommends that your filters be checked and cleaned periodically and replaced when required. If your filters are washable make sure they are completely dry before inserting back into the machine.

How To Use Operating your carpet washer Your dirty water tank is fi tted with a fl oat. When the dirty water tank is full or the fl oor head is not in contact with the carpet the fl oat will shut off the suction at the fl oor nozzle. You will be able to hear if this has happened as the motor noise on the unit will increase.
Using the wash tool Do not saturate your upholstery. The clean water tank will need to be fi lled with Vax carpet cleaning solution and water before use. Align inserts and push in. Turn clockwise to secure.
