Additional Features
GPS Lock
Please refer to page 190 of the supplied "Camera User
Guide" for additional information.
By default, the camera uses the GPS location of the camera
when the picture is taken. The GPS lock feature allows a GPS
location to be locked into the camera. This GPS location will be
used for future pictures, not the physical location of the camera.
GPS lock can be useful where the location of the camera need
to be different from the object(s) physical location. Road signs
and fire hydrants are examples. To capture the GPS location of
the object in the picture, go to the physical location of the
object, use the GPS lock, and then walk back and take the
picture.
To enable GPS lock:
1. Press the "MENU/OK" button on
the camera.
2. Use the right arrow button to
scroll over to the "EXP SET"
menu.
3. Use the down arrow until "GPS
LOCK" is highlighted.
