Refitting the driving pulley

- Manually move the mobile driven half-pulley
away pulling it towards the clutch unit and insert
the belt repeating the direction of rotation of the
first fitting.
N.B.
IT IS GOOD PRACTICE ALWAYS TO FIT THE
BELT SO THE WORDING CAN BE READ, IN
THE CASE THAT THIS DOES NOT SHOW A
FITTING SIDE.
- Refit the particular components of the assembly
(roller container assembly with bushing, limiting
washer, stationery half-pulley, cooling fan belt with
drive, washer and nut).
- Tighten the lock nut to torque 20 Nm and then
perform a final 90° lock preventing the rotation of
the drive pulley with the specific tooling.
N.B.
REPLACE THE NUT WITH A NEW ONE AT EV-
ERY REFIT
CAUTION
IT IS MOST IMPORTANT WHEN FITTING THE
DRIVING PULLEY UNIT THAT THE BELT IS
FREE INSIDE IN ORDER TO AVOID MAKING A
WRONG TIGHTENING WITH THE POSSIBLE
LATER DAMAGE OF THE CRANKSHAFT
KNURLING.
