Description
The document is scanned by the scanner section, and the
scanned image is printed by the printer section.
Referred to as the "machine", the "main unit", or the "CS240"
throughout the manual.
Performs user authentication by scanning vein patterns in the fin-
ger.
For details, refer to the manual provided with the authentication
unit (biometric type).
Provides an area to temporarily place a document or other mate-
rials. This is also used when the authentication unit (biometric
type) is installed.
Installed to increase the telephone lines available for faxing.
Can be loaded with up to 3,000 sheets of plain A4-size paper.
Can be loaded with the following A4-size paper: 2,500 sheets of
thick paper 1, 1,750 sheets of thick paper 1+, 1,CS240 sheets of
thick paper 2 or 1,300 sheets of thick paper 3.

Feeds out finished printed pages. The "Sort" setting (separating
by copy set), "Group" setting (separating by page), and Staple
