5.6.1 Register Addresses

The Modbus registers are assigned within 30 seconds after the
2100 module is powered up. To conserve power for the users who
do not use Modbus communications, no Modbus registers will be
updated with sensor readings until a Modbus master communi-
cates with the 2100 module.

Note
In a system consisting of more than one module, the "top"
module (the one being queried) is holding the Modbus data for
the entire system. Although most registry locations are the
same for all 2100 Series modules, some will be determined by
the specific module being interrogated, and its firmware ver-
sion.
