Installations at Altitude

Models RHFE-201FA, RHFE-263FA, RHFE-263FAII, RHFE-1004FA
The PC boards of these models have altitude settings which allows operation up to 10,200 feet (3109 m). The
correct altitude is entered using switches on the PC board and the appliance control buttons.
When installing these models, follow the Gas Pressure Setting Procedure for your model.
Models RHFE-431FAIII, RHFE-431WTA, RHFE-556FAIII, RHFE-556FTRAIII, RHFE-556WTA
For installations at altitude (greater than 2000 feet), follow the guidelines of the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA
54) and all applicable local codes.
Models 201RFA, 202FTA, 263RFA, 265FTA, 433RFA, 433WRTA, 434FTA, 558RFA, 558WRTA, 559FTA,
1004FA, 1004RFA, 1004FTA
Conversion of the appliance for operation at high altitudes (> 2000 ft, 610 m) requires the completion of the
section, Adjust Gas Pressure Settings, using the high altitude manifold test pressures. No parts need to be
replaced for high altitude.
Canada
For high altitude installations in Canada, the conversion shall be carried out by a manufacturer's authorized
representative, in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer, provincial or territorial authorities having
jurisdiction and in accordance with the requirements of CAN/CGA-B149.1 or CAN/CGA-B149 installation codes.
