Adjusting printed
image position and size
If your badges are not sealing completely, you may need
to increase the laminator temperature slightly. If the
edges of the badge pouches appear ragged, you should
probably decrease laminator temperature.
Adjust the laminator temperature by using a small
screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw (B) about 1/8th
turn. (Clockwise increases temperature.) Wait a few
minutes for the temperature to stabilize, then check the
thermometer and adjust again if necessary.
If your ID-4000 system is new or you started using a
different diecutter, you may need to adjust the position
or size of your printed ID card images so they align with
the diecutter openings.
Use the following steps to adjust the images printed by
your ID-4000:
1 Display the ID-4000 program group as follows:
a Hold the ALT key
b Press the TAB key until "Program Manager" appears.
c Release the ALT key.
2 Start the Diecut Area Adjustment program by choosing
the Diecut Tools icon from the program group.
