10 Other Android Applications
You device has several Android applications
preloaded. They are mentioned in this section
briefly. For more detailed instructions on
Google-specific applications, go to the Google
web site, www.google.com/mobile.
Launch Books
Books is an eBooks service provided by
Google. It lets you browse and read books
online. Your device must be synchronized with
a valid Google account to use this feature.
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon.
2. At the main menu, touch Books.
3. At the books list, you can do one of the
following:
– Touch a book to read it.
– Touch and hold a book to access
features for that specific book.
– Press the Menu key to access more
features.
Browser
Use Browser to surf the web with your device.
Launch Browser
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon.
2. At the main menu, touch Browser.

3. At the browser screen, you can do one of
the following:
– Scroll up or down to explore the current
page.
– Enter a query in the address file. Touch
a suggestion or touch Go to surf to the
Web page
– Touch a link on the Web page to go to it.
– Press the Menu key to access more
features.
Add a Bookmark
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon.
2. At the main menu, touch Browser.
3. Go to the Web page you wish to bookmark.
4. At the Web page, press the Menu key.
5. Touch Add bookmark.
6. Edit the bookmark information as needed.
7. Touch OK to save.
To access your bookmarks, touch Bookmarks.
Use Calculator
Use Calculator to perform basic and advanced
mathematical operations.
1. From the home screen, touch Main Menu
icon.
2. At the main menu, touch Calculator.
