Display Voice Icon
You can display an icon to access voice
commands on your Android keyboard.
1. Touch Voice input.
2. Select one of the following:
– On main keyboard displays icon on
the letters keyboard.
– On symbols keyboard displays icon on
the symbols keyboard.
– Off never displays icon.
Set Input Languages
You can switch languages when you are using
the Android keyboard. You must set the
languages that you wish to use.
1. Touch Input languages.
2. Select the languages you want to use. A
check mark indicates a language is enabled.
To switch languages when using the Android
keyboard, slide your finger on the Space key.
Enable Word Suggestions
Touch Show suggestions to display word
suggestions from the dictionary as you type. A
check mark indicates Show suggestions is
enabled.
When you are typing, touch suggested words
to select them.
User Guide
Enable Auto-complete
Touch Auto-complete to enter a highlighted
word automatically if a space or punctuation is
typed. A check mark indicates Auto-complete
is enabled.
Show suggestions must be enabled to use
Auto-complete.
Built-in keyboard
From Built-in keyboard, you can modify the
following features.
Enable Auto-replace
Touch Auto-replace to automatically correct
words that are incorrectly type. A check mark
indicates Auto-replace is enabled.
Enable Auto-capitalization
Touch Auto-cap to automatically capitalize
words as needed when you enter them. A
check mark indicates Auto-cap is enabled.
Enable Auto-punctuate
Touch Auto-punctuate to automatically insert
periods when you press the Space key twice. A
check mark indicates Auto-punctuate is
enabled.
