From Voice input & output, you can modify
the following features.

Voice recognizer settings

From Voice recognizer settings, you can
modify the following features.
Set Language
You can set the language you use for voice
commands.
1. Touch Language.
2. Touch the language you want to use.
Set Filter
1. Touch SafeSearch.
2. Touch a filter level. This will filter the
results of voice searches.
Block Offensive Words
Touch Block offensive words to hide
offensive words from voice search results. A
check mark indicates Block offensive words is
enabled.
Text-to-speech settings
From Text-to-speech settings, you can modify
the following features.
Play Demo
Touch Listen to an example to play a short
demonstration of how speech synthesis works.

Use Default Settings
Touch Always use my settings to always
override an application's settings with the
default settings. A check mark indicates
Always use my settings is enabled.
Set Search Engine
You can set the search engine used for spoken
text.
1. Touch Default Engine.
2. Touch the engine you want to use.
Install Voice Data
Touch Install voice data to install the voice
data package required to run text-to-speech
synthesis from the Market.
Set Speech Rate
1. Touch Speech rate.
2. Select a rate from the list. This is how fast
the text is spoken.
Set Language
You can set the language-specific voice used
for spoken text.
1. Touch Language.
2. Touch the language you want to use.
