Development
From Development, you can modify the
following features.
Enable USB Debugging
Touch USB debugging to allow data to be
copied between installed applications and other
devices without notification when a USB is
connected. A check mark indicates USB
debugging is enabled.
Enable Stay Awake
Touch Stay awake to keep the screen awake
when the device is charging. A check mark
indicates Stay awake is enabled.
Enable Mock Locations
Touch Mock locations to allow your device to
have fake locations. A check mark indicates
Mock locations is enabled.
Accounts & sync
From Accounts & sync, you can modify the
following features.
Enable Background Data
Touch Background data to allow applications
to synchronize data at any time. A check mark
indicates Background data is enabled.
User Guide
Enable Auto-sync
Touch Auto-sync to allow applications to
synchronize data automatically. A check mark
indicates Auto-sync is enabled.
Add an Account
You can synchronize your device with your
accounts, such as Google.
1. Touch Add account.
2. Select an application or account type.
3. Complete the settings as needed. You may
need the applicable user name and
password for the account.
Modify an Account
You can add, remove, or modify the accounts
synchronized with your device.
1. At the accounts list, select an account.
2. Modify the account as needed.
Create a Google Account
You can create a Google account from your
device.
1. Touch Add account.
2. Select the Google application.
3. Touch Next and follow the prompts to
create a user name and password. You will
also need to accept the Google Terms of
Service.
4. Once your account is created, select the
Google applications you wish to
synchronize with your device.
