REMOVAL

1. Remove:
• Carrier assembly 1
• Backrest 2
Removal step:
• Pull the carrier lock lever 3 away from the car-
rier lock bracket 4, and then turn the carrier
lock lever to position b to remove the carrier
assembly and backrest.
a Lock
b Unlock

INSTALLATION

1. Install:
• Backrest 1
• Carrier assembly 2
Installation steps:
• Align the holes in the backrest with the bolts on
the carrier lock bracket 3, and then place the
backrest on the carrier lock bracket.
• Align the holes in the carrier assembly with the
bolts on the carrier lock bracket, and then place
the carrier assembly on the carrier lock bracket.
• Slide both the backrest and carrier assembly in
the direction a shown in the illustration until
they stop.
• Turn the carrier lock lever 4 to position b to
lock the backrest and carrier assembly in place.
Then, place the lever under the carrier assem-
bly and fasten it with the holder.
