● Speaker: Route the phone's audio through the speaker (ON) or through the
earpiece (OFF).
Warning:
Because of higher volume levels, do not place the phone near your ear
during speakerphone use.
● Mute: Mute the microphone during an active call. Touch the ON/OFF button to
mute or unmute your microphone.
● Hold: Touch to put the current call on hold.
Touch during a call to display a list of additional in-call features.

Call Waiting

You can answer an incoming call while you have a call in progress, if this service is
supported by the network and you have previously enabled the Call waiting option.
To enable Call waiting:
1.
Touch Home
2.
Touch > Call settings > Additional settings.
3.
Select the Call waiting check box.
When you are on a call, Call waiting alerts you to incoming calls by sounding beeps. Your
phone's screen informs you that another call is coming in.
To respond to an incoming call while you are on a call:
► On the Incoming call screen, tap
To switch back to the first caller:
► Tap Switch calls.
To create a conference call between your existing call:
► Tap Merge calls.

Conference Calling

With Conference calling, you can talk to two people at the same time. When using this
feature, the normal airtime rates will be charged for each of the two calls.
1. On the Phone screen, enter a number and touch
2. Once you have established the connection, touch Add call, and dial the second
number. (This puts the first caller on hold and dials the second number.)
3. When you are connected to the second party, touch Merge calls.
