Wi-Fi Settings
The Wi-Fi settings menu lets you turn Wi-Fi on or off, set up and connect to available
Wi-Fi networks, and configure advanced Wi-Fi options.

Access the Wi-Fi Settings Menu

Configure your Wi-Fi settings, which may include:
Network notification: Notifies you when an open Wi-Fi network is available.
Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep: Stays connected to Wi-Fi when the screen goes to
sleep to conserve mobile data usage.
Scanning always available: Scans for networks even when Wi-Fi is off.
Avoid poor connections: Avoids using a Wi-Fi network unless it has a good
Internet connection.
Install certificates: Installs encrypted certificates from your USB storage.
Wi-Fi optimization: Minimizes battery usage when Wi-Fi is on.
MAC address: Displays the Media Access Control (MAC) address of your
phone when connected to a Wi-Fi network.
IP address: Displays the Internet Protocol (IP) address assigned to your phone
by the Wi-Fi network you are connected to (unless you used the IP settings to
assign it a static IP address).
