The first time the camera is turned on, the [Language/u] screen
appears on the monitor. Follow the procedure below to set the language
displayed on the monitor and the current date and time.
If the [Date Adjustment] screen appears,

proceed to "Setting the Date and Time"
(p.62).

Setting the Display Language

You can set the language in which the menus, error messages, etc.
are displayed.

Use the four-way controller (2345) to select the desired
language, and press the 4 button.
The [Initial Setting] screen appears
in the selected language.
Proceed to Step 6 if W (Hometown)
does not have to be changed.

Press the four-way controller (3) to move the frame to
and press the four-way controller (5).
The [W Hometown] screen appears.
