Using the Advanced Features of Your SoundPoint IP 32x/33x Phone
Your phone can be configured to work with Microsoft Live Communications
Server 2005 and communicate with others using Microsoft Office
Communicator and Windows Messenger. From your phone, you can invite,
join, control, and monitor integrated multipoint audio and video conferences.
Any contacts added through your buddy list will appear as a contact in
Microsoft Office Communicator and Windows Messenger. Any contacts
added as a contact in Microsoft Office Communicator and Windows
Messenger will appear in your buddy list.
To view and change your presence, refer to
settings:
on page 4-5.
For more information, contact your system administrator.
To add a contact to your buddy list:
1. Press
.
2. Select Features > Presence > Buddy Status.
3. Do one of the following steps:
If the buddy list is empty, press
a
number.
If the buddy list is not empty, use
b
press
to enter a new buddy's contact number.
If the buddy list is not empty, press
c
the Add soft key to add a new entry.
4. Enter the desired contact number and press the Ok soft key.
5. Press
repeatedly to return to the idle display.
You can also delete a contact or dial a contact from your buddy list.
To view and change your privacy list:
1. Press
.
2. Select Features > Presence > Privacy List.
3. Use
or
to scroll through the list to find the contact.
To view and change your presence
to enter a new buddy's contact
to scroll up the new entry,
to select an entry, then press
