Under the MacOS, you can configure your PCI card with the Fast EN
Config utility. The Fast EN Config utility is located on the MacOS disk.
In order to configure your PCI card manually, first drag the Fast EN
Config icon to your hard disk. Next, open the utility and select the card
in the pop-up menu. Then click on Manually Force Settings. You may
set the card for either 100Mbps or 10Mbps, and for either full or half
duplex.
The default is Automatically Sense Network, which automatically
negotiates the most optimal settings. When connected to a full duplex
device, full duplex is automatically enabled. When connected to a
device that also auto-detects, the mode with the highest performance
is selected. Automatically Sense Network uses the following order of
priority:
1. 100Mbps full duplex
2. 100Mbps half duplex
3. 10Mbps full duplex
