Screen saver mode
The backlight goes dark when on a call or
turns off completely after 1 minute of
inactivity if the handset is not on the base unit
or charger.
Activate the handset display again by:
– pressing {3} or {4} when on a call.
– pressing {OFF} at all other times.

Initial settings

Programmable settings can be accessed
by pressing {MENU} (middle soft key), y
and then the corresponding code on the
dial keypad (page 22).
Example: Press {MENU} (middle soft
key) y1z1.
■ Symbol meaning:
Example: {r}: "Off"
Press {V} or {^} to select the words in
quotations.
Important:
L When you install the batteries for the first
time, the handset may prompt you to set
display language and date and time.

page 14, and then press {OK}.

You can select either "English" or
"Français" as the display language. The
default setting is "English".
