Recording Configuration Information

Before continuing, record the following configuration information for your reference:
WWAN Connection Information
WWAN Service Provider:
(Cingular, Verizon, etc.)
WWAN Plan Type:
(Standard, Acceleration, VPN, etc.)

Registration Information

Serial Number:
(xxxxxxxxxxxx)
Authentication Code:
(xxxx-xxxx)

Networking Information

TZ 190 LAN IP Address:
TZ 190 Subnet Mask:
Ethernet WAN IP Address:
(optional)
DNS Server 1 :
(optional)
DNS Server 2 :
(optional)
Record the name of your WWAN service
provider.
Record the type of plan you have with
your WWAN service provider. If you are
not sure what your plan type is, ask your
service provider.
Record the serial number found on the
bottom panel of your SonicWALL TZ 190
appliance.
Record the authentication code found on
the bottom panel of your
SonicWALL TZ 190 appliance.
Select a static IP address for your
SonicWALL TZ 190 appliance that is within
the range of your local subnet.
Record the subnet mask for the local
subnet where you are installing your
SonicWALL TZ 190 appliance.
Select a static IP address for your Ethernet
WAN. This setting only applies if you are
already using an ISP that assigns a static
IP (as in the case of a landline T1/E1
connection, where the WWAN is a
failover).
In most cases, DNS server information is
automatically provided by your WAN
service provider upon connection. Record
your DNS server information here if your
network requires it. If for example, you
make use of internal DNS servers.
