Cleaning the lint filter

Check and clean the lint filter
when the following message shows:
"Clean the filters" or "Clean out
airways".
A two-piece lint filter in the dryer fan
cavity collects the lint. It has to be
removed and disassembled.
Note: Use a vacuum cleaner to clean
the lint filter without touching it.
Removing the lint filter
^ Press on the right side of the flap to
open it.

^ Pull the lint filter out by its handle.
Disassembling the lint filter
^ Hold the lint filter with both handles
and twist the inner filter towards you,
then pull apart (see illustration).
