    2. G ENERAL ADVICES Before putting your dehumidifier into operation for the first time, the instructions manual should be studied carefully. After receiving the unit, you should check your dehumidifier for any transport damage. In case of damage, you should inform and make a note of it on the forwarding documents.

I NSTALLATION AND TRANSPORT For installation and transport, the following instructions must be considered:  Both air filters and slats located on the dehumidifier’s laterals must not be covered!  Before moving the dehumidifier’s place of installation, the appliance must be switched off in the power button.

    6. O PERATING INSTRUCTIONS ATTENTION Operate this dehumidifier only in the upright position. Plug in to a standard outlet with the correct voltage and current for the unit. If the unit shuts off for any reason allow it to rest for five minutes before restarting it.

    To use the water pump or the hoses, for draining the condensate, you should proceed as follows:  Remove the tank from the tank compartment.  Fasten the hose provided with the equipment and then attach it to the water pan outlets underneath the evaporator. If possible, the hose should be fastened using a hose clamp.
