Evaporate residual moisture

If there is still water in the steam
injection system at the end of a
programme or if the programme is
cancelled, you will be prompted to
evaporate the residual moisture.
The prompt appears
– when switching on the appliance.
– when selecting "Moisture plus".
– when selecting an Automatic
programme with Moisture plus.
Select "Cancel" to cancel the process
or confirm with "OK" to start it.
It is best to start the evaporation
process straight away so that only
fresh water is used during a cooking
programme.

Evaporate residual moisture process

The oven will heat up to approx. 150 °C
and the residual water in the oven
cavity will evaporate.
How long this takes will depend on the
amount of water in the system.
The moisture will condense on the
door and the oven cavity and needs
to be wiped off after the oven has
cooled down.

To start the process

If you confirm the prompt with "OK", the
evaporation process will start immedi-
ately. The display shows the
approximate time remaining.

To cancel the process

If you select "Cancel" the evaporation
process will not start and you will then
only be able to run functions and Auto-
matic programmes without Moisture
plus.
The evaporation process must be
carried out before you can use an
Automatic programme with Moisture
plus or the Moisture plus function.
If you don't want to start the
evaporation process, you will need to
press the "Cancel" sensor for at least
3 seconds.
You can then start the cooking
programme.
,
Do not cancel the prompt for
residual moisture evaporation too
often, as this might cause the steam
unit to overflow when taking in more
water.
