Entering Text on the Telephone

In the following situations, you can enter text (alphanu-
meric characters) on the telephone:
• when assigning one of the following to a key:
– a station number! Page 29
– a function ! Page 65
– a procedure! Page 69
• when sending a message ! Page 83
• when leaving an advisory message ! Page 85
Entering text via the keypad

Digit keys must be pressed a specific number of times
to enter letters.
Example:
"R" = Press the
times.
