    Chapter 1 Chapter 1 Introduction The EasyCoder 501 XP is a greatly enhanced version of the well- known EasyCoder 501 series of 4-inch thermal printers from Inter- mec. It features a completely new CPU board, power supply, and print mechanism, which provides an astounding print speed of up to 300 mm/sec (12"/sec) at 300 dpi.
