MDI auxiliary Connection Steps:
1.
Connect the MP3 player or iPod device to
the MDI cable connected to the multimedia jack
in the glove box.
2.
Press the MEDIA hard key (A).
3.
Turn on your iPod or MP3 player. The
sound will be played through your speaker sys-
tem.
Auxiliary input Connections Steps:
1.
Plug in your iPod to auxiliary jack in the
center console. Note that an auxiliary cable
does not come standard.
2.
Press the MEDIA hard key (A).
3.
Select the AUX or MEDIA-IN soft key (B) on
the touch screen. You are now connected to
your iPod.

between these areas and the occupants.
External devices can cause serious injury in
the event of an accident, especially if the
airbags inflate.
Uncounted or improperly mounted exter-
nal devices can be thrown through the
passenger compartment in the event of a
sudden driving or braking maneuver or an
accident, causing injury.
