E R R O R M E S S A G E S The Rinnai Water Heater has the ability to check its own operation continuously. If a fault occurs, an Error Message will flash on the Digital Dispaly of the Remote Controller. 5) Do not obstruct flow of combustion and ventilation air. In the case of any fault or error message from the Rinnai Water Heater, first turn all hot water taps off. Wait for 5 seconds. NO FREEZE PROTECTION is available. The installation of auto drain down solenoid valves is optional. However, Rinnai strongly recommends that these valves be installed to prevent damage from freezing in case the normal freeze protection should become disabled.
