8. Read the measurement in the LCD
Screen or on the Sliding Ruler.
Note: Make sure the tool is perpendicular
to the object so you will get an ac-
curate reading.
Note: The LCD readout displays met-
ric measurements to the nearest
0.01mm, and to the nearest 0.0005"
for measurements in inches. The final
digit for the inches measurement is
in the lower right corner of the LCD
Screen and displays only when the
measurement is 0.0005 greater than
the 0.001 increment.
9. When finished measuring, close the
jaws, press the "OFF" Button to turn
the Digital Caliper off, wipe off the unit
with a soft cloth and replace in case.
Store in a safe, dry place out of reach
of children.

Note: To ensure an accurate reading:
a. Make sure the Jaw faces are clean.
b. Set the Measurement Readout to
zero.
c. Make sure you position the Caliper
perpendicular to the object when
measuring.

Measurement Jaws. Slide the jaws
together until they gently contact the
item. Read the measurement on the
ruler or the LCD Screen.

item to measure. Slide the jaws open
until they gently contact the item.
