Active Emergency
Braking System
If the vehicle has Adaptive Cruise
Control (ACC) it also has the Active
Emergency Braking System, which
includes Intelligent Brake Assist
(IBA) and the Automatic Collision
Preparation (ACP) System. These
systems can provide a boost to
braking or automatically brake the
vehicle to help avoid crashes.

System on page 9 53.

Power Outlets

The accessory power outlets can be
used to plug in electrical equipment,
such as a cell phone or MP3 player.
The vehicle has two accessory
power outlets:
Inside the front storage bin
below the climate control
system.
On the rear of the centre floor
console.
Lift the cover to access the
accessory power outlet.

Sunroof
For vehicles equipped with a
sunroof, the ignition must be in ON/
RUN or ACC/ACCESSORY,
or Retained Accessory Power (RAP)
must be active, to operate the
sunroof. See Ignition Positions on
page 9 14 and Retained Accessory
Power (RAP) on page 9 18.

In Brief
2. TILT Switch
Open/Close: Press the rear or
front of the switch (1) to the first
detent and hold to open or close the
sunroof.
Express Open/Express Close:
Press the rear or front of the
switch (1) to the second detent and
release to express open or express
close the sunroof.
Vent Feature: Press the rear of the
switch (2) and release to express
open the vent. Press the front of the
switch (2) and release to express
close the vent.
Manually open the sunshade.
