the chance of sparks getting back to the battery
is much less.

10. Start the vehicle with the good battery. Allow the
(-) terminal of the
12-volt system of the
vehicle with the good
battery.
9. Connect the other end
of the negative (-) cable
to the remote negative
(-) terminal, marked
GND, on the vehicle
with the dead battery.

Note: It may take up to 30 minutes to charge the
battery enough to start the vehicle, depending on
the battery's state of charge.
