CORRECTING PROBLEMS YOURSELF
Problem
colors wrong, color spots
picture is there, no sound
sound unclear
poor or no Teletext
remote control does not work
After switching on,
"child lock" appears on the menu
Possible cause
strong magnetic field from
speakers (or other)
problem with terrestrial
magnetic field
volume at minimum or
speakers switched off
volume regulation activated
via audio cinch socket
(if this possibility is available)
problem is with the broadcaster
SAT mode
sound setting
TV channel (has no Teletext)
or check aerial system
transmission signal too weak
(picture grainy)
no optical connection
remote control batteries
undefinable operating mode
child lock is activated

Remedy
increase distance of speaker
to TV set
with permanent color spots,
switch off the TV set with the
mains switch and switch back
on after after 10 minutes
change appliance position
increase/switch on volume
select sound output
via speaker
test another channel
check AV cable between
TV set and receiver
correct sound setting
check with another channel,
possibly double image or
reflection or fine tuning
check aerial system
point remote control at the TV set
check or replace the batteries
pay attention to polarity
switch off TV set with the main
power button for about 2 minutes
enter secret number or number
combination 7038580.
